Πραγματοποιήθηκε την Παρασκευή 3-6-2016 η παρουσίαση της συμμετοχής του 6 ου Γυμνασίου Κατερίνης στην Εβδομάδα Ευρωπαίων Κατασκευαστών (European Maker Week) με τίτλο «Κατασκευή ηλεκτροστατικών διατάξεων, με ανακυκλώσιμα υλικά και υλικά καθημερινής χρήσης, ως επιστημονικό παιχνίδι» με διοργανωτή τον Φυσικό του σχολείου κ Χρήστο Πετούση.

παρουσίαση ξεκίνησε στις 12.30 και το ενδιαφέρον των συναδέλφων και φίλων που παρευρέθηκαν παράτεινε τη διάρκειά της μέχρι τις 5 περίπου το απόγευμα.
Στη συζήτηση ακούστηκαν από τους συναδέρφους ενδιαφέρουσες απόψεις σχετικά με το ρόλο του πειράματος και των κατασκευών στη διδασκαλία των φυσικών επιστημών τόσο στο γυμνάσιο όσο και στο λύκειο αλλά και στο δημοτικό σχολείο. Ιδιαίτερα συζητήθηκε ο ρόλος των κατασκευών με ανακυκλώσιμα υλικά και υλικά καθημερινής χρήσης ως εργαλείο κατανόησης του θεωρητικού μέρους ενός μαθήματος αλλά και τρόποι ενεργοποίησης των μαθητών , ως άτομα αλλά και ως ομάδα, στην κατασκευή πειραματικών διατάξεων αλλά και κατασκευών που η λειτουργία τους στηρίζεται στην εφαρμογή της θεωρίας πολλών μαθημάτων που διδάσκονται στην τάξη.
Ο διοργανωτής ευχαριστεί τους συναδέλφους καθηγητές αλλά και όλους τους συμμετέχοντες στην παρουσίαση και προς ενημέρωση κάθε ενδιαφερόμενου παρατίθεται η επιστολή των διοργανωτών
σχετικά με την πανευρωπαϊκή διοργάνωση αλλά και τον διαγωνισμό της επόμενης φάσης που ακολουθεί με προθεσμία υποβολής έργων την 30-6-2016

We know how hard you worked on this and can only say that this success was in large part due to you, your committed colleagues and what we consider to be the most special maker gathering in Europe, Maker Faire Rome.
European Maker Week was a watermark moment, one that would not have happened without your support and commitment along the way. Thank you again for going the many extra miles for us, and most of all for yourself and for your local maker communities.
During the 1° Institutional EU Maker Faire in Brussels last May31 we peacefully “invaded” the European Parliament: things for European makers won’t ever be the same from now on!
We had over 500 events in 36 countries: many people attended the workshops, labs, talks you organized during theseven full days of exciting networking and growth opportunities. We expect that the energy and excitement of the European Maker Week will generate fresh ways of thinking about inclusive solutions for makers, start-ups and policy makers.

Phase two is now starting: Maker Faire Rome – the European Edition’s Call for Makers is now open, and scouting for the most amazing maker projects.
Selected projects will enjoy a free booth at its 2016 edition, held in Rome October 14 – 16 and the opportunity to share their knowledge, meet prospect clients and get noticed by investors. Please apply to the Call for Makers here.
Selected projects will also enter the R.O.M.E. Prize: a 100.000 euro award for the best maker project with the highest social impact. Jury is chaired by Prof. Neil Gershenfeld; author Bruce Sterling and Prof. Simona, Maschi,CEO at C.I.I.D Copenhagen
